2. Services Offered
Inner Ease Therapy provides integrative therapeutic services for adults. Services are offered in person at the Enniskillen practice and online via secure video for clients across the UK. The following services are currently available:
50-Minute Therapy Session
Available in person or online. A focused session drawing on counselling, trauma-informed occupational therapy, and other modalities as appropriate to your needs.
80-Minute Therapy Session
Available in person or online. A longer session providing additional space for more complex or layered therapeutic work.
Deep Regulation Session — 110 minutes
Available in person only.
An intensive, body-based session grounded in trauma, somatic, and sensory-informed approaches, delivered using the Just Right State Programme (Sensory Attachment Intervention Centre). Suitable for complex PTSD, chronic trauma, and deep burnout. This is an 8–16 session programme; being in the room is a clinical requirement of this format.
Current fees are published at innerease.co.uk/services and will be confirmed in writing before your first appointment.
15-Minute Chat - Free
A free, no-obligation 15-minute phone or video call to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions, and establish whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no commitment arising from this call.
Services are currently available to adult self-referrals only. Inner Ease Therapy does not accept referrals for children or young people under 18 at this time.
Online therapy is currently available to clients based in the United Kingdom only. Warren Abercrombie reserves the right to update the geographic scope of online services as registration status changes.
3. Fees & Payment
Current fees are displayed on the website and will be confirmed at the point of booking. Warren Abercrombie reserves the right to review fees, but any agreed fee will not be changed for sessions already booked and confirmed.
Payment terms are as follows:
-
First session: payment is required before the session takes place. Online bookings can be paid by card at the time of booking. For in-person appointments, payment may be made by card or BACS bank transfer in advance, or by cash collected at the start of the appointment.
-
Ongoing sessions: payment by BACS bank transfer is preferred and should be made prior to each appointment. Cash is also accepted for in-person sessions. Payment details will be provided following the initial consultation.
-
Accepted payment methods: card (online booking), BACS bank transfer, or cash (in-person appointments only). There is no obligation to use any particular method - different approaches work for different people, and all are equally welcome.
-
Concessionary rates: a small number of reduced-rate slots are available for clients experiencing genuine financial hardship. If this applies to you, please raise it during the free 15 minute chat. There is no awkwardness and no judgement.
Fees are inclusive of all session materials. No additional charges apply unless otherwise agreed in writing
4. Cancellation & Missed Appointments
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This applies to all paid sessions.
The following terms apply where adequate notice is not given:
-
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full.
-
Missed appointments (non-attendance without prior notice) will be charged in full.
-
In the event of a genuine emergency, charges will be considered on a case-by-case basis at Warren Abercrombie's discretion.
If Warren Abercrombie needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, as much notice as possible will be given and a full rescheduling option or refund will be offered. Warren Abercrombie's liability in such circumstances is limited to the fee paid for the cancelled session.
Refunds for prepaid sessions will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer legislation and the individual circumstances.
Please note: the 48-hour cancellation window also applies to the free 15 minute chat as a courtesy, to allow the time to be offered to others.
5. Client Responsibilities
To receive the best possible service, clients are asked to:
-
Provide accurate and relevant information about their circumstances, history, and anything that may affect the therapeutic work.
-
Engage honestly and respectfully throughout all communications and sessions.
-
Attend sessions on time. Sessions cannot be extended to compensate for late arrival.
-
Make payment in accordance with the agreed terms.
-
Communicate any concerns about the therapeutic relationship directly and promptly.
Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate (whether in sessions, by phone, email, or any other means), will result in the immediate termination of services. In such cases, any prepaid fees for future sessions will be refunded, but no compensation will be payable.
6. Confidentiality
Everything discussed within therapy is confidential. This is a fundamental principle of ethical therapeutic practice and is taken seriously.
Confidentiality may only be broken in the following limited circumstances, in keeping with Warren Abercrombie's professional and legal obligations:
-
Where disclosure is required by law or court order.
-
Where there is a serious and credible risk of harm to you or to another identifiable person.
-
Where safeguarding concerns arise in relation to a child or vulnerable adult.
-
As part of professional supervision requirements, in accordance with the ethical standards of the HCPC, RCOT, NCPS, and National Hypnotherapy Society. Supervision is a required component of ethical professional practice and is conducted confidentially. No identifying details are shared unnecessarily.
Where possible and safe to do so, any need to breach confidentiality will be discussed with you beforehand. This is not always possible in urgent safeguarding situations.
All personal and clinical information is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and Inner Ease Therapy's Privacy Policy, available at www.innerease.co.uk.
7. Clinical Scope, Suitability & Limitations
Warren Abercrombie is a registered health professional, practising as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC No. OT73299) and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT No. BT0814185), as well as a registered Counsellor (NCPS No. NCS23-03519) and Clinical Hypnotherapist (National Hypnotherapy Society No. HYP22-01061). The services offered at Inner Ease Therapy are provided within the professional scope and ethical frameworks of these registrations.
While Inner Ease Therapy offers regulated health professional services, the practice does not provide:
-
Medical diagnosis or psychiatric assessment
-
Medication review or prescribing
-
Inpatient, crisis, or emergency mental health services
-
Services that replace or replicate the role of a GP, psychiatrist, or secondary care mental health team
If your needs require any of the above, Warren Abercrombie will discuss this with you and, where appropriate, support you to access the right services. Therapeutic work at Inner Ease can run alongside GP care or other professional support, it is not an either/or.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, are at immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, or require urgent support, please contact emergency services (999), your GP, or a crisis support service
8. Clinical Hypnotherapy - Specific Information
Clinical hypnotherapy at Inner Ease involves a deeply relaxed but conscious state in which the mind may become more open to exploring patterns, beliefs, and responses that contribute to distress. It is not unconsciousness, sleep, or loss of control. You remain in control throughout and cannot be made to do or say anything against your will or values.
Hypnotherapy at Inner Ease is always conducted within a clinical and therapeutic framework, grounded in Warren Abercrombie's training with the National Hypnotherapy Society. It is not stage hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy is not appropriate for everyone. Contraindications will be discussed at the free 15 minute chat and initial session. If hypnotherapy is agreed to form part of the therapeutic work, specific consent will be sought before it is used.
9. Online Therapy
The 50-minute and 80-minute Therapy Sessions are available online via secure video for clients based in the United Kingdom.
For online sessions, you are responsible for:
-
Ensuring you have a reliable internet connection and suitable device with camera and microphone.
-
Choosing a private, confidential space where you will not be overheard or interrupted.
-
Being in the United Kingdom for the duration of the session.
Warren Abercrombie cannot be held responsible for technical failures outside his control. If a session is interrupted by a technical failure on Warren Abercrombie's side, it will be rescheduled or refunded. If the failure is on the client's side, the session will be considered attended.
The Deep Regulation Session is not available online. This is a clinical decision: the body-based and sensory nature of this programme requires in-person attendance.
