Treating the
Whole Person
Not just your thoughts, but what's happening beneath the surface and what's happening in your body too.

What brings people here
You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to start, just a reason to want things to feel different. These are some of the things I work with most:
Anxiety, panic and overwhelm: That constant low hum of dread, the racing thoughts, the physical tension you carry without realising. Anxiety isn’t just in your head, it lives in your body too, and that’s exactly where we work with it.
Grief, loss and bereavement: Grief doesn’t follow a timeline and it isn’t only about death. It can follow the end of a relationship, a job, an identity, or a version of your life you expected to have by now. Whatever form your loss takes, it deserves space.
Anger and emotional regulation: Anger is rarely just anger. Underneath it is usually something else; hurt, fear, or a nervous system that’s been running on high alert for too long. We work with what’s driving it, not just the surface.
Stress, burnout and feeling stuck: When you’ve given everything for so long that there’s nothing left. Not just tired, hollowed out. Burnout isn’t weakness. It’s a signal that something has to change, and we’ll work out together what that looks like.
Relationship and attachment difficulties: The patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, the push and pull, the shutting down, the fear of getting it wrong. These usually go back a long way and respond well to gentle, patient exploration.
Trauma and PTSD: Whether it’s a single event or a lifetime of experiences you’ve never fully processed, trauma has a way of staying in the body long after the mind has tried to move on. You don’t have to be ‘over it’ to start.
Low mood and depression: The flatness. The disconnection. Going through the motions without really being there. Whether it’s recent or something that’s followed you for years, there is a way through, and it doesn’t always look like what you’d expect.
Top Down Healing
Counselling & Psychotherapy
Making Sense Of Your Story
Top Down: Making sense of your story. Sometimes the most powerful thing is simply having space to talk, to lay out what’s happened, what it meant, and why it still affects you. Through counselling & psychotherapy informed by narrative and attachment approaches, we build a kinder, clearer picture of who you are and why you respond to the world the way you do. This isn’t about analysing you. It’s about understanding yourself.
Bottom Up Healing
Finding Your "Just Right" State
Bottom Up: Finding your ‘just right’ state. For many people, their body hasn’t caught up with what their mind already knows. Drawing on my Occupational Therapy background and training in Sensory Attachment Intervention (SAI), we look at how your nervous system is responding to the world around you, whether that’s stuck in overdrive, or so shut down you feel numb. Using somatic and sensory techniques, we gently help your body find steadiness again.
Subconscious Healing
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Subconscious: Clinical hypnotherapy tends to get a bad reputation, stage shows, swinging watches, people clucking like chickens. The reality is quite different. It’s a deeply relaxed state, not unconscious, always in control, where your mind becomes more open to change. Rather than fighting the patterns and beliefs that keep you stuck, we can gently work with them at a level beneath conscious resistance. Many people find it the most restful hour of their week.
You’re always in the driving seat. There’s no fixed programme here, no rigid protocol you’re expected to follow. Every session is built around what you need that day, and you always have a say in how we work.
If hypnotherapy appeals to you, we can include it. If you’d rather focus on talking or body-based work, we do that instead. If you’re not sure, we figure it out together. The session format is yours to shape, you choose the time that fits your life, and we choose the tools that fit you.
Services Offered
1. Therapy Session
(50 mins) - £70
In person or online
Best for: regular ongoing support with anxiety, low mood, burnout, stress, grief, or navigating a difficult life transition.
A focused session drawing on counselling and trauma-informed occupational therapy, whichever combination fits what you need that day.
We work at your pace, on what matters most to you right now.
Most people start here.
2. Therapy Session
(80 mins) - £105
In person or online
Best for: when there’s something layered or heavy to work through, or when you want more space than a standard session allows.
Sometimes a standard session isn’t quite enough. This longer session gives us room to move through different levels of the work, from talking and making sense of things, into body-based or subconscious work.
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of where things have settled.
3. Deep Regulation Session (110 mins) - £160
*In person only
Best for: Complex PTSD, chronic trauma, deep burnout, or a nervous system that has been in survival mode for a long time.
For some people, what’s needed isn’t just regular sessions, it’s a sustained process that gives the nervous system genuine time and space to change. This is an 8–16 session 'Just Right State' Programme (Sensory Attachment Intervention Centre), a somatic, body-based approach to nervous system regulation.
A Note on Accessibility:
I believe cost should never be the reason someone doesn’t get support. I hold a small number of reduced-rate slots for people experiencing genuine financial hardship. If this applies to you, please mention it when we speak. There’s no awkwardness and no judgement, just a straightforward conversation about what’s possible.

Not sure where to begin?
Book a free 15-minute call and we’ll talk it through together, then decide which approach, or combination of approaches, fits best.
There's nothing to decide yet, just a conversation to see where things stand.
